Celebrating Outstanding A Level Results!

The Peterborough School Celebrates 100% pass rate in an Outstanding set of A Level Results

Students at The Peterborough School were rightfully celebrating this morning as they collected their A Level results, which saw a 100% pass rate for all exams. Additionally, almost 1 in 4 students gained an A* or A grade in every single subject.

96% gained places on their chosen courses, ranging from Medicine, Law, Business Management, English Literature and more, reflecting the many strengths of our Upper Sixth cohort.

Individual successes include Deputy Head of School, Harriet Miller, who celebrated straight A*’s in English Literature, Philosophy, Art and Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), an additional independent research project based on a project of their choosing, used to enhance University applications. Harriet will go on to study English Literature at Durham University.  Head of School, Ikaheng Pagiwa, gained two A*’s in Biology and EPQ, as well as two A’s in Maths and Chemistry, and goes on to study Chemistry at Imperial College London this September.

Well done to Orson Keeling, who achieved an A* in Maths and  A grades in Further Maths and Physics, along with his A in EPQ. Orson now takes up his place at Sheffield studying Aerospace Engineering.

In addition, congratulations to Zain Ahmed and Srinidhi Mohan Prasad.  Zain achieved a clean sweep of A’s in his four subjects; Chemistry, Maths, Physics and EPQ, and looks forward to beginning his Medicine studies at ARU.  Srinidhi gained A grades in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and begins her course in Biomedical Science at Lancaster in September.

Headmaster, Adrian Meadows, was once again thrilled for the Upper Sixth Students: “I am so very proud of every student for their remarkable achievements this summer. They have worked incredibly hard, and these incredible results are testament to their resilience, diligence and hard work. I am also incredibly grateful to all our staff who have gone above and beyond to ensure each student achieves their very best. I look forward to hearing about the next stage of our students’ educational careers and wish them the best for the future”.
